FRAXEL
...is terrific for
stimulating collagen
growth, and circulation. Best of all, within just 24 hours, barrier function
resumes and healing begins.

Here's
How it Works: A blue tint is applied to highlight
the contours of the skin so the laser's Intelligent Optical Tracking (I.O.T)
can adjust the treatment pattern accordingly. Fraxel's unique tracking
intelligence is a fail-safe to prevent the overtreatment. Topical anesthetic
ointment is then applied. The Fraxel pattern is laid down in a series
of passes using a robotic handpiece. Patients feel a mild stinging, like
a windburn, for about an hour after treatment with pinkness for up to
a week. Expect some flaking (exfoliation), bronzing and mild puffiness.
These after-effects are temporary and not pronounced. Many patients go
back to work the same day they are treated.
